Thank You – Pond Clean Up Day
The Powwow Pond Council would like to thank everyone that helped with the pond clean-up day on June 1. In spite of the hot weather, many volunteers turned out to assist in removing trash and debris from the pond and surrounding shoreline. Boy Scout Troops 91 and 93, their leaders and chaperones worked hard to clean the shoreline near the New Boston Road bridge.
We would also like to thank the Kingston Conservation Committee for their assistance and participation and to Rich St Hillaire for taking all the trash to the dump. A very special thank you is also due Bill and Brenda Bourgeois for hosting the after clean-up cook out.
Thank you to everyone that helped make this project a success.
