Recreation Seeks Community Input

Recreation Seeks Community Input

It is budget time in the Town of Newton. We want your input on what matters to you.

We have developed a questionnaire so you can give us your thoughts.

We are also having a meeting on Wed., November 6 at the Town Hall, at 7:00 p.m., to which you are vigorously invited to come and talk about what interests you, and your thoughts, concerns and ideas about Recreation in Newton.

All questionnaires will have to be in by that night.

The Recreation Commission is made up of seven volunteers who work to provide a variety of programs for Newton residents. We are faced with developing a budget for your approval for the 2014 Fiscal Year. Your input is important to the Town.

You can find the questionnaire at Town Hall, the Town Library, on Facebook at ‘Newton, NH Recreation Committee’, and online on the town website (Newton-NH.gov) in the lower left.

Please rank your answers from 1-5, with 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest where it says ‘Importance to You”.

You can return it to Recreation Commission in a number of ways: Drop off: at the Town Hall in the Recreation Mailbox; Mail it to Recreation, Newton Town Hall, PO Box 378, Newton NH 03858; or via email to recreation@newtonnh.net.

We will be listening!

Annie Collyer, Chairman

Newton Recreation Commission
