I wanted to take a moment to commend the town of Atkinson, and the people in it. I have been a resident of Atkinson for over thirty years. This past year I became very ill. Elderly affairs has provided transportation to medical appointments and gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, giving me some of my independence back. They give so much and take so little.
The ladies of the Kimball Public Library have also supported me by bringing books to my home and checking on my progress.
To all involved in these services, please know your effort and kindness does not go unnoticed. I feel fortunate to be a member of a community that has such a strong support system.
