Sincere thanks to the Plaistow Fire Department’s Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics; they saved my life!
On Fri., September 28, 2012, Plaistow Fire Department’s EMTs responded to my medical emergency at the Plaistow Planet Fitness. I suffered what turned out to be a massive heart attack. Their timely response, accurate assessment of my condition and proper treatment protocol is a credit to the entire EMT profession.
The Plaistow EMTs, in concert with Exeter Hospital’s acute cardiac team ensured that I am able to write this letter of gratitude today. I want to also specifically thank Exeter Hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technicians and Dr. Jessica Sutherland for their highly professional, fast and effective treatment of my condition. They deserve all of their awards for being one of the very best acute care hospitals in treating heart attacks with their minimally-invasive procedures.
