To Kingston Voters:
The Kingston Lake Association thanks you for supporting our election day raffles. The septic tank pumping by Bob’s Septic Service of East Kingston was won by Gordon Bakie. Lynn Merrill won the tree service work by Sunrise Tree Service. The 50/50 raffle was won by Theresa Bourque. Many asked us how we use our money. KLA has three fundraisers: the raffles on election day, the Regatta in the end of July, and our annual membership drive in May/June.
Our major expenses include: $500.00 towards the Lake Host Program, $500.00 scholarship for a needy Camp Lincoln camper, dues to The NH Lakes Association and the Loon Preservation Society $400.00, fees for water sampling $100.00, guest speaker at our membership meeting and start up costs for our events $300.00, brochures, newsletter etc, $100.00 and contributions to our weed control program $500.00.
If you are interested in Kingston Lake Association activities, please log on to our website at www.kingstonlakenh.com. The next meeting of the Association is March 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the Kingston Community Library. All meetings are open to the public. Kingston Lake Association welcomes you.
