Carriage Towne News
---- — I am writing this letter in support of Renee King for the upcoming school board elections. She is running for the open Newton seat against James Doggett. Having somebody new on the school board is exactly what Sanborn needs. I believe she is highly qualified and wants to make a positive difference in the Sanborn Regional School District.
Renee was born in Western Massachusetts and graduated from Endicott College in Beverly, MA, with a degree in Business Management. She met her husband while attending Endicott and lived on the North Shore until moving to Newton eight years ago. She has been married for twenty years this June and has two sons who attend the Sanborn Regional Schools. She was PTO President and Co-President in Salem, MA as well as Newton, NH for a number of years. She has always been very involved with every school and regularly follows the school news, deliberations and voting.
Renee is an employee of two companies and a consultant for a third as an Accounting and Finance Administrator as well as an HR Manager. Her experience includes twenty years of accounting, management and HR experience. She has also assisted in two company acquisitions and one IPO.
I feel that she would be a wonderful addition to the Sanborn Regional School Board because she will listen to the facts, weigh the options and will make decisions in the best interest of everyone involved. Although she has children in the school district, she also has parents and friends who are retirees in the town and she will make decisions on what’s best for all. She will also try to make decisions that will allow our schools to reach their goals of being the top ten-percent in New Hampshire without creating a financial burden to the community.
As you can see, Renee would be a wonderful addition to the school board. Please vote for her on March 12.
