SEACOAST —For the seventh year in a row, New Heights is one of seven non-profit beneficiaries of Spinning Generosity, a seven-day charity event hosted by LizFit in Portsmouth.
Beginning on Mon., December 11, LizFit Owner Liz Forkel and her team of instructors will teach a 45-minute spin class at Spinnaker Point Recreation Center with proceeds to benefit a different charity each day. New Heights will receive donations from the class held on Sun., December 17 at 9:00 a.m.
Registration for Spinning Generosity is now open.
Spinning Generosity raised $13,680 in 2013, $12,750 in 2014, and $21,389 in 2015. Last year, $40,121 was raised to support local non-profit agencies. Anyone can participate by spinning or donating. Spinners are asked to raise a minimum of $50 to benefit their chosen charity.
