Concert Series Kick Off

HAMPSTEAD – The 39th Army Band will kick off the Meetinghouse Park summer music series with selections of patriotic and pop tunes on Tues., July 1 beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Start date is 5:30 p.m. for this concert only.  All future events will begin at 6:00 p.m.  The concerts, sponsored by the Hampstead Cable TV Advisory Committee, are free and all are welcome.  They are held, rain or shine, in the field behind the Town Office Building, 11 Main Street. 

Additional concerts, featuring some returning favorites as well as a few new acts, will continue each Tuesday night through August 19. 

Blankets, chairs and picnic lunches are encouraged.  Leashed dogs, on the perimeter of the field, are welcome.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
