---- — WENHAM, MA – Wenham Museum’s 40th annual Family Festival and Craft Fair will return to the museum’s lawn on Sat., August 25, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 132 Main St., Wenham, MA, with a rain date of Sun., August 26.

The fair features over 60 juried regional artisans from over 10 North Shore communities featuring one-of-a-kind hand made crafts ranging from custom wood carved house signs, folk art, sterling silver jewelry, hooked rugs, pottery, dolls clothes, beach glass jewelry, organic soap, hair accessories, and home décor crafts and more!

Renowned silhouette artist Carol LeBeaux returns to the museum for a special guest appearance for visitors to commission a keepsake hand-cut portrait created during 10-minute sittings or from profile photograph.

Visitors to the fair can enjoy barbeque favorites from Fat Belly BBQ food truck. The Wenham Council on Aging will be on hand with their images of America quilt postcard on sale.

Families will enjoy face painting, classic children’s games like hoop rolling, ball and cup, and toss games, and a children’s sign-a-long led by the Stoneridge Singers. Games like Racko, Scribbo and Tenzi from Winning Moves and Haba will be available for families to enjoy. Visitors are encouraged to bring new and old dolls to the museum’s doll clinic for advice on care, storage, minor repairs.

In the tradition of Wenham Day, the museum will offer free admission to the museum’s galleries including the museum’s special family-friendly summer exhibition Let’s Celebrate Childhood: Then and Now, where visitors can discover how childhood toys and games, clothing and furnishings, books, chores, and other aspects of family life have evolved from the 17th century to today.
