Fitzy's Fright Fest

Carriage Towne News

---- — NEWTON - Fitzy’s Fright Fest will once again be haunting the woods of 37 Maple Avenue, Newton, on Thurs., October 31, and Sat., November 2, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., both nights. The walk is free and open to the public; however, donations will be greatly appreciated from those willing to support these efforts. This year, 50% of all donated monies received will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Why support Making Strides? Because every year, we learn of another friend who has heard the horrible words “you have breast cancer” and is facing the fear of the fight ahead. This year that friend is Mary. Because $35.00 could provide free information and support for two people facing cancer; $100.00 could help guide two women facing breast cancer through every step of their journey through the ACS Reach to Recovery® program; $1,000 could help fund research to identify cancer-causing genes in DNA, a key step in finishing the fight against breast cancer; but mostly because we want to end this disease.

As an outdoor haunt, this event is dependent on the weather. If there is heavy rain, only the front yard will be open. Please like them at for news and updates. Wondering what spirits await you in the woods? Only one way to find out. Please come help celebrate both Halloween and the Celtic New Year and Scare if you Dare! This one’s for Mary!
