Spooky Stories

Carriage Towne News

---- — DURHAM - Calling all vampires, ghosts and witches! Looking for a fun way to kick-off the Halloween season? Don’t miss an evening of (not so) spooky stories, puppetry and Halloween treats at this year’s Spooky Stories event, held on Mon., October 28, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., in the UNH Hennessy Theatre, in the Paul Creative Arts Center.

This popular event showcases UNH students from Puppetry, Creative Drama and Storytelling classes, while offering the public a safe alternative to trick-or-treating during the Halloween season. Participants can look forward to story-telling and puppetry, a candy hunt (weather permitting), and a walk through a friendly, interactive haunted house on the UNH Hennessy Theatre stage. Although all are welcome, the evening is geared toward children pre-school to grade 3.

Spooky Stories is free to the public. Space is limited, and reservations must be made in advance by going on our website, http://cola.unh.edu/theatre-dance. If you have not made a reservation, admittance will be on a space available basis.
