Spooky Stories

Carriage Towne News

---- — DURHAM - Calling all vampires, ghosts and witches! Looking for a fun way to kick-off the Halloween season? Don’t miss an evening of (not so) spooky stories, puppetry and Halloween treats at this year’s Spooky Stories event, held on Mon., October 28, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., in the UNH Hennessy Theatre, in the Paul Creative Arts Center.

This popular event showcases UNH students from Puppetry, Creative Drama and Storytelling classes, while offering the public a safe alternative to trick-or-treating during the Halloween season. Participants can look forward to story-telling and puppetry, a candy hunt (weather permitting), and a walk through a friendly, interactive haunted house on the UNH Hennessy Theatre stage. Although all are welcome, the evening is geared toward children pre-school to grade 3.

Spooky Stories is free to the public. Space is limited, and reservations must be made in advance by going on our website, If you have not made a reservation, admittance will be on a space available basis.
