CHESTER — The Chester Congregational & Baptist Church will host a Hoedown on Fri., October 25, from 7:00–8:30 p.m., at Stevens Memorial Hall, located at 1 Chester Street, Chester. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This is fun family event with a Fiddler and a Caller for old-fashioned barn dances. Refreshments will be available at additional cost. All proceeds will benefit the Chester Congregational& Baptist Church.

Tickets are $10.00 per person. Tickets can be purchased through the church office; office hours are Tues., Thurs., and Fri., 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased Sunday mornings at the church.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
