Meet the Author

EXETER – On Fri., October 11, at 4:00 p.m., Water Street Bookstore, located at 125 Water Street in Exeter, is hosting New York Times bestselling author Anna Dewdney, featuring her new book titled, “Llama Llama and the Bully Goat”.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author of “Llama Llama Red Pajama” and “Llama Llama Mad at Mama” comes another fun-loving tale with our favorite llama friend. Taking on a difficult but important part of children’s lives, Anna Dewdney gives readers a way to experience and discuss bullying in a safe and comforting way.

Anna Dewdney lives in a very old house in Vermont. She has two teenage daughters and two very muddy dogs. Anna has wanted to write and illustrate children’s books from the time she was a little girl, and she likes nothing better than to sit in her studio and make funny faces as she sketches her characters and writes her stories. Anna has had many jobs (in addition to being a mom); she’s been a middle-school teacher and school bus driver, a waitress, a mail carrier, and a day care teacher.

This event is free and open to the public. At 4:00 p.m., Anna will read her new book followed by a signing. Kids will also be able to make an anti-bullying pledge!

There will also be love goats for the kids to meet and learn about and Llama Llama will be here in his red pajamas to take picture with!

Please call (603) 778-9731 or visit www.waterstreetbooks.com for more information.
