Corned Beef Dinner

EPPING —The Epping Community Church will host a St. Patricks’ day special on Sat., March 15. A Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner will be served from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Just think, it will bring out the Irish in you.  Corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, turnips and carrots. Add soda bread and you have a meal fit for a king. Desert will be homemade brownies topped off with ice cream and of course a beverage.  Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12 years old. The Epping Community Church is located at the corner of Main and Pleasant Street (Route 27) in downtown Epping.  Proceeds will go into the new building fund.

Remember, on Friday evenings they serve a great pizza between 5:00-7:00 p.m. The cost is $8.00 for a great pizza with your choice of toppings and a can of soda. To order your pizza in advance, call 679-5546 between 4:30-6:30 on Friday and it will be ready when you are. Eat in or take out.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
