Art Exhibit and Sale

EXETER —The New Hampshire Society of Photographic Artists (NHSPA) is holding their 15th annual Member Exhibit and Sale at the Town Hall Gallery, located in the upper level of the Exeter Town Hall. The exhibit will run until February 2 (Sat. and Sun. only 12:00-4:00 p.m.).

Fine Art Photographers from around the state have combined their styles and techniques to create a unique representation of old as well as new methods in the field. Black and white silver gelatin prints, conventional color prints, Polaroid Transfers, historically inspired hand-made contact prints, as well as “state of the art” digital images printed on archival papers are among the photographic styles traditionally exhibited.

The following Gallery Talks will be offered. All talks are free, start at 12:30 p.m., and last about 45 minutes.

February 1: Carol VanLoon’s “Barn Show” at the NH Art Association Gallery in August was a culmination of a journey. Hear about her journey and how the “Barn Show” came about.

February 2: Photographer, movie-maker and publisher, Peter Randall, will be speaking about “Why do you photograph and what do you do with your photographs: a conversation”.

For updates on the above schedule, please visit the Calendar Page at

The gallery is handicap accessible via an elevator inside the rear door, adjacent to the upper parking lot.

Admission is free.
