Benefit Supper

AMESBURY, MA - The Market Street Baptist Church will host a Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser on Wed., December 4, at the church, 37 Market Street, Amesbury, MA, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., to help fund the cost for the Primack family to adopt a girl from Ethiopia. The cost per meal is : Adults- $10.00, Child - $5.00 and Family - $20.00. Take-out meals are available. All profits will go directly to the adoption fund.

Matthew and Marianne Primack of Amesbury are currently in the process of adopting a 13 year old girl who lives in an Ethiopian orphanage. This type of adoption is a long and expensive process. This girl has two friends from the same orphanage who have been adopted and are living with a Newburyport family and Hampton family. The three families desire to keep the girls from being separated.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
