The Big E

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA — The 2013 Big E, the largest fair in the Northeast, is just around the corner, and with it comes great talent, fantastic food, unique shopping, animals, rides and plenty of fun for the whole family. The annual 17-day event will be held September 13-29, in West Springfield, MA.

Enjoy daily concerts at the xfinity arena and Court of Honor Stage, with big names like Austin Mahone, Hunter Hayes, Kix Brooks and The Beach Boys, as well as DJ Pauly D. Satisfy your hunger with mouth-watering meals and tasty snacks and shop for a new sweater or handmade crafts to decorate your home. Bring the kids to the petting zoo or take them on fun-filled rides in Kiddieland. For those looking for something more exciting, the Midway is full of exhilarating rides like the 3.6 G forces of the new Mach 3. Don’t miss out on all of fun at this year’s Big E.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
