After arriving in San Jose, your Costa Rican eco-adventure will begin with a journey over scenic mountains and through lush rainforests to Tortuguero National Park where you will embark on a river cruise through protected wetlands. Howler monkeys will watch from the treetops, as toucans and egrets fly overhead as you cruise the canals and streams. You’ll stroll the streets of Tortuguero Village and explore the fascinating Green Turtle Research Station.

Your journey continues on to Arenal, where you will learn about the country’s agricultural resources, then you will visit the world famous Tobacom Hot Springs. You will spend two days in Monteverde where the world famous Cloud Forest will be your backdrop for observing the most diverse bird populations in Costa Rica. No trip to Costa Rica is complete without a visit to Manuel Antonio National Park, with its stunning white sand beaches.
