Herb Planter Workshop

EAST KINGSTON — The Friends of the East Kingston Public Library will sponsor a Herb Planter Workshop on Tues., May 28, at the library located at 47 Maplevale Road in East Kingston. Felicia Motherway, a plant science teacher and horticulturist, will begin the workshop at 6:00 p.m.

You will learn some basic horticulture by planting a delightful, fragrant planter of herbs! Plant your favorite culinary herbs in a twenty-inch terracotta window box planter perfect for outside your kitchen door, deck or patio. The planter also includes perennial herbs that can be planted in your garden for years to enjoy! Have fun getting your hands dirty and enjoy an evening out.

The fee is $25.00 for Friends members and $30.00 for non-members per person and includes planter, soil and herb plants.

To register for the class, visit or stop by at the East Kingston Public Library. The deadline to sign-up is May 26.
