Mini 'Street Fair'

---- — PORTSMOUTH — The Dorks in Dungeons cast and crew will hold a Mini Portsmouth “Street Fair” as a fundraiser for their touring needs. The all-day event will be held on Sat., May 18, from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at 58 State Street (in the lot across from the Rosa where Station used to be). Expect to find gently used yard sale items, handmade crafts, bake sale goodies, gift certificates and merchandise donated from local establishments, live music featuring Jamie Bradley and Old Saw (with more to come), the Kitchen Deli & Catering food truck, face painting, children’s games, and more!

The show Dorks in Dungeons is going to Gen Con, the largest gaming convention in the entire Universe! All proceeds from the Street Fair will go into their Kickstarter fund.

So please consider stopping by their yard sale on Sat., May 18 with a rain date scheduled Sun., May 19.

Also, they are taking donations of all sizes. So if you have items in good condition you were looking to get rid of, the Dorks will take them! For more information, email kathleencavalaro@gmail.com.

Dorks in Dungeons is inspired by a well-known rule-intensive role-playing dice game where players create imaginary characters in a fantasy world and set off on quests - all controlled by the Dungeon Master.

The show can be seen once a month at the Players’ Ring in Portsmouth. The next performances will be on Thurs., May 16 and Thurs., June 13 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $12.00 General, $10.00 for Students, Seniors, Members. The Players’ Ring is located at 105 Marcy Street.
