Taste of Salem

SALEM - Yum - It’s Back! The Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Enterprise Bank, will be holding the Annual Taste of Greater Salem, on Wed., May 15, at Atkinson Resort and Country Club, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

The “Taste” is a night of Food, Fun and Fellowship! Chamber members in the Restaurant and Food Service industries will provide a wide variety of delicious samples of their culinary masterpieces.

This year’s participants include: Atkinson Resort & Country Club, Balducci’s Wood Fired Pizza and Wings, Chief Wok, The Common Man, Culinary Capers, Gourmet Bites, Greystone Farm, Hawksie’s Ice Cream, J.Michael’s Family Sports Pub, Lobster Q, Michael’s Market, Salemhaven, Salem Farmer’s Market, T-Bones, Tuscan Kitchen, Who You Callin’ Cupcake, and Zorvino Vineyards.

The event is open to the public and a portion of the proceeds helps to fund the Chamber’s Scholarship Program and Interview Challenge. Tickets are $30.00 per person and include admission and sampling. This event will sell out, so please call the Chamber at 603-893-3177 for tickets today!

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
