Dog Show

DANVILLE - The Merrimack Valley Kennel Club, first annual Spring AKC B/OB Dog show match, will be held on Sat., May 4, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Anheuser-Busch plant, Merrimack. The Match will be held rain or shine.

Events at the show include Canine Good Citizen Testing, Rally and Obedience competition, and Breed/Conformation show, just like you see on TV. There will also be a micro chip clinic and rabies clinic for anyone who would like to get their pet’s micro chip or up to date with their rabies. Come join the group as they celebrate the club’s 50th birthday party. You’ll also be able to have your picture taken with the famous Clydesdale horses.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
