Trip for Seniors

---- — HAMPSTEAD – The Hampstead Seniors are planning a trip to Boston on Wed., May 29. The trip will depart at 9:00 a.m. from St. Ann’s church, and will return about 5:00 p.m.

The sign-up will be held Wed., May 1, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the Meeting House on Emerson Ave. The trip is restricted to those ages 62 and older. The cist is $25.00 for residents, and $30.00 for non-residents. Cash only. Payment is due at sign-up.

You will arrive in Boston, around 10:00 a.m.

The first stop is at the U.S.S. Constitution at the Charlestown Navy Yard followed by a visit to the museum. At 11:00 a.m., the tour guide, Allen Winecour, will join the group at the Korean War Memorial and Museum gate of Old Ironsides. From there the tour will be heading to Faneuil Hall Market Place for 1.50 hours shopping. After that, the tour will then go onto a delicious and very authentic Italian Restaurant in the North End named Lucia on Hanover Street. If times allows, they will stop at the Old North Church, the Rose Kennedy Green along with St. Stephen’s Church where she was baptized.

Hampstead Seniors will be given first choice. All others will be placed on a waiting list.
