Vegas and Poker Night

HAMPSTEAD —The Hampstead Lions Club will hold a Vegas and Poker Night on Sat., May 11 at One Eleven Village Restaurant on Route 111 in Hampstead. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. for registration and pre-tournament play with the first tournament starting at 6:00 p.m. Please remember, all profits raised go to charity.

The Entrance Fee is $60.00 for 8,000 in chips with a $15.00 Option for an additional 2,000 in chips with No Re-Buys or Add-On. The payout is seventy-percent with the top eight (8) places, prizes may increase or decrease based on attendance. There is also a Bounty in effect.

The following Casino and Poker Games will be played all night: Blackjack, Roulette, Let-It-Ride and Cash Texas Hold'em.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
