Benefit Bake Sale

LONDONDERRY — A benefit Bake Sale at Mack’s Apples will be held by Community Caregivers of Greater Derry on Sun., September 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The volunteer organization provides support and assistance to the elderly, disabled and homebound so they may maintain independence in their

communities and homes. They also operate the free Loaner’s Closet for

Durable Medical Equipment.

The Bake Sale will feature homemade treats for sale, and people are asked to provide their favorite baked goods. Those who donate are asked to have their items individually wrapped and dropped off Sat., September 21 from 1:00-4:00 p.m., at the Episcopal Church of St. Peter, 3 Peabody Row, Londonderry, or brought to Mack’s, 230 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, on the day of the sale.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
