Meet Garden Lady

RYE - The September meeting of the Rye Driftwood Garden Club will be held on Tues., September 17. C.L. Fornari, The Garden Lady, will present “Myths, Lies and All the Latest Dirt”. “C.L. Fornari is a writer, professional speaker and gardening expert who is dedicated to creating successful home gardeners and landscape professionals. She hosts Gardenline, a weekly radio program streamed online by WXTK, is the author of several books, and joyfully gardens on Poison Ivy Acres on Cape Cod.”

The meeting will be held at the Rye Congregational Church in Rye Center. Coffee and refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m., with the program to follow at 10:00 a.m. Guests are welcome.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
