Jingle Bell Fair

HAMPTON - The Jingle Bell Fair will be held on Sat., November 10, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at the First Congregational Church, 127 Winnacunnet Rd., Hampton. The event features shopping, music, laughter, and good cheer.

Arrive at 9:00 a.m. for coffee and sumptuous blueberry buckle and shop before you enjoy a traditional New England chowder luncheon starting at ll:00 a.m., including fresh-made lobster rolls, assorted sandwiches, and homemade desserts. They will also be selling three pound apple pies, frozen and ready to bake for your Thanksgiving celebration.

Fair goods and goodies include a vast array of handmade and hand-painted crafts, many made of recycled materials, and holiday decorations featuring fresh greens (their boxwood trees and kissing balls are hot sellers), felted wool purses, hydrangea wreaths, paper white bulbs, ornaments, American Girl doll clothing and accessories, homemade specialty foods, an expanded Cookie Walk (your choice of cookies sold by the weight), Candy Shoppe (sweet homemade confections), Attic Treasures (featuring lots of pre-loved Christmas treasures, as well as antiques and costume jewelry), our unbelievable Gift Baskets, many featuring Stonewall Kitchen products, and a Silent Auction of truly unique gifts. Bidding closes at l:00 p.m.

Be sure to visit Santa in the children’s wing, and have your picture taken with him, and Be sure to stop by the Jingle Bell Fair for plenty of holiday fun and festivities for everyone! For more information, call the church office at 926-2837.

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
