Senior Luncheon

ATKINSON — The Atkinson Senior Summer Luncheon sponsored by Atkinson Recreation will be held on Wed., July 31 at Atkinson Country Club, 85 Country Club Drive, Atkinson. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The menu includes finger sandwiches and wraps, pasta salad, field greens salad with seasonal dressing, house baked cookies, coffee, tea and decaf.

This event is offered only to Atkinson Seniors over 65 years old and is free of charge. Atkinson Recreation’s Sun ‘N Fun Summer Program campers and staff will serve and perform entertainment.

Space is limited and you must pre-register to attend.

Reserve your seat by Mon., July 15 by calling Noriko at 362-5531. Please bring canned food to donate to the local food pantries.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
