Writers' Night Out

DERRY —The first gathering for Writers' Night Out in Derry, will be held on Mon., January 7, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Cask & Vine, 1 East Broadway, Derry. Writers' Night Out is your chance to meet and mingle with writers in your area. The groups meet on the first Monday of the month in locations across the state (see New Hampshire Writers' Project website for more information).

Writers' Night Out is your chance to meet and mingle with writers in your area. All are welcome at this warm gathering where you can informally discuss what you are working on, what you are reading, where you are submitting your work, and more. There are no featured readers or speakers. The special guest is you!

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
