Folk Trio to Perform

HAMPSTEAD —Coming all the way from New York, the acoustic folk trio, Red Molly, will appear at Hampstead’s Meetinghouse Park on Tues., July 23 at 6:00 p.m. The performance is part of the free summer concert series sponsored by the Hampstead Cable T.V. Advisory Board.

The women have been performing since 2004 and have recently opened a number of times for Willie Nelson. They play guitar, banjo, dobro and lap steel guitar. Red Molly’s three-part harmony has been described as crisp, warm and energetic.

Meetinghouse Park is located at the intersection of Route 121 and Emerson Ave. in Hampstead. Picnic lunches are encouraged and leashed dogs on the perimeter of the field are welcome. A rain venue for this performance only is Middle School, 28 School Street.
