'Lawyers, Guns and Money'

PORTSMOUTH —The Players Ring wraps up it’s Late Night Season with “Lawyers, Guns and Money” - A two-part suspense/thriller by acclaimed local playwright G. Matthew Gaskell.

In part one, a game is under way. Three women, six guns and a bag of money - winner take all. But only if the losers are dead. In part two, Nick Artorro is focused on one thought. His perfect plan. A simple kidnap and ransom with a big payoff. He’s captured his victim and listed his demands. The only thing left is to sit with his hostage and wait for the phone call.

Lawyers, Guns and Money features Todd Hunter as Nick . Constance Witman, Michelle Blouin-Wright and Jasmin Hunter will be fighting to the death , and G. Matthew Gaskell is the hostage caught in the middle.

Performances will be held on Fridays and Saturdays, through August 25 at 10:00 p.m. and Sundays at 9:00 p.m. at The Players Ring, 105 Marcy Street in Portsmouth.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
