Octoberfest in August

EPPING —Octoberfest in August! That’s the theme of this year’s annual Fair at Hedding Campground on Route 87 in Epping, to take place on Sat., August 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sponsored annually by the Hedding Ladies’ Auxiliary, the Fair provides a day of fun for everyone while raising funds to support many activities within the campground.

The wide assortment of tables and booths is sure to feature something for everyone, from foodies to crafts lovers and collectors. When you get hungry, there will be German wurst mit potato salad and American lobster rolls, along with a “Bier” tent serving three kinds of beer root, birch and ginger, that is. And as usual, the coffee shop will serve coffee, tea and baked goods, some German.

There’s always a big crowd at the Fair, so come early, browse around and enjoy the day!
