Bluegrass Gospel Concert

HAMPSTEAD —Hampstead’s free Meetinghouse Park Summer Music Series continues with Bluegrass Gospel Project on Tues,, July 16 at 6:00 p.m.  New to Hampstead, this six-piece group will offer a mix of traditional bluegrass and gospel music.  Playing mandolin, fiddle, upright bass, banjo and dobro, the Vermont-based group features songs by Sam Cooke, U2 and Flatt & Scruggs.

The concerts are sponsored by the Hampstead Cable T.V. Advisory Board and are held in the park behind the Town Office Building, 11 Main Street.  Concert-goers are invited to bring chairs, blankets, and picnic lunches. Leashed dogs, on the perimeter of the park, are welcome.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
