---- — PORTSMOUTH —Dorks in Dungeons performs the final show of their season on Sun., June 22 at 7:00 p.m. at The Seacoast Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth. This show marks the temporary end-point of their improvised fantasy adventure in a two-hour improv comedy show in the tradition of games like Dungeons and Dragons. The regular cast will be joined by special guests Christine Penny, Dan Beaulieu, and Kevin Condardo of Seven Stages Shakespeare Company, hot off of their production of Taming of the Shrew.

The performance will feature a social hour before the show beginning at 6:00 p.m., where guests can play games by local and national game-makers and enjoy beverages before entering the theater for the performance. The show is pay-what-you-can and newbies can get in free with an elusive n00b comp ticket available at Diversion’s Puzzles and Games and Pickwick’s Mercantile. The Dorks will be holding their end-of-the-season party immediately following the show at The Press Room.

Dorks in Dungeons is inspired by games like Dungeons & Dragons where players create imaginary characters in a fantasy world and set off on quests. Game Master Brian Kelly leads the Dorks’ adventurers through battles, challenges, skill checks more while a troupe of improvisers act as his denizens and monsters.
