Community Dinner/Forum

BRENTWOOD — Pilgrim Church welcomes you to their first Community Dinner and Forum on Fri., April 5. This is an opportunity to bring the community together to discuss topics of interest to families. Volunteers will serve a spaghetti dinner from 5:30-6:30 p.m. At 6:45 p.m. Swasey School teacher Wilhelmina Bradley will speak on “Being Present With The Ones You Love - Bringing Balance to Busy Lives”. Participants will learn tools for reducing stress and distractions for families at home and at school.

When you’re not seeing Wilhelmina on her bicycle commuting to and from her third grade class, you will see her teaching on her yoga mat. She will share her thoughts on how we create our own reality and the importance of being in the present moment, with interactive discussion, Reiki and breathing and concentration exercises.

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations will help with planning. To reserve your space, please email Pilgrim Church is located at 197 Middle Road (111A) in Brentwood.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
