Art Show

EXETER - If you haven’t stopped by the Seacoast Artist Association Gallery lately, now’s the time to celebrate change. Take in the fresh look and fresh art at a reception on Thurs., November 21, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Gallery, 225 Water St., Exeter. Meet local artists and enjoy the works they’ve presented for the November/December Theme Show Big Gifts in Small Packages. Wine and a variety of hors d’oeuvre and snacks will be served for you refreshment.

In addition to the theme show, art work has been refreshed with new watercolors, oils, monotypes and other media as well as photographs of Exeter by the Seacoast Photography Association as the Featured Artists for October/November.

The small packages theme show features works of art priced under $100.00. The exhibit runs through Fri., December 27. The fresh art in the gallery will be refreshed early in January.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
