Ballroom Dance: Grab your spot now for this wildly popular offering! This will be the last session until starting up again in the fall. The eight-week spring session of learn-to-ballroom dance, or, continue your lessons, gets underway on Sun., April 21. Don’t miss your chance to experience what dozens of couples have already discovered…that Sandown Parks and Recreation, together with our popular instructors will quickly and easily have you enjoying yourself in no time, even if you’ve never danced before. A partner is required and may be anyone you choose provided it is someone over the age of 16. The entire eight-week session is just $92.00 per couple for residents and $102.00 for non-residents.
Mission Meltdown: Say good-bye to winter and lazy sweatpants because spring is here and with it comes the warmer weather we all want. Beginning Thurs., April 25 at 6:30 p.m. for eight weeks, this one-hour class is broken up into two parts. Part one consists of thirty minutes strength training to help build lean muscle to get stronger and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training will have modifications for every level and will work to tone the entire body. Part two will be thirty minutes of Zumba to get your heart pumping and blast away the calories while dancing Salsa, Reggae and Merengue steps. The cost is $60.00 per person for residents and $65.00 for non-residents. Participants must be 16 or older. Not sure you can make every class?
