Italian Buffet

EXETER —The public is invited to an Italian Buffet, one of the “This Ain’t Your Granny’s” Church Supper series at the Congregational Church in Exeter, on Sat., April 13, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. There will be pastas, regular and gluten-free; lasagnas, meat or veggie; meatballs, big and saucy; salads, bread, dessert and beverage. Diners will be entertained with Italian music on an accordion throughout the evening.

All the above will be included in the suggested donation price of $12.00 for adults, $6.00 for youth, with children under 5 free. Tickets will be available at the door.

Seating will be at small tables in the vestry, immediately inside the front doors. The church is at 21 Front Street, Exeter, near the bandstand. It is wheelchair accessible. For further information, please call the church office, 772-4216 or visit their website,

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
