RAYMOND — This holiday season a local donor has issued a very special challenge to shoppers that visit the Raymond Hannaford with a goal of increasing food donations to the New Hampshire Food Bank.
For every one specified item that customers buy and leave at the store to donate to the Food Bank, the donor will match it with ten of the same item. Then, Hannaford will double the donation, turning the one item purchased by the customer into 22.
The donation schedule and items to be purchased are: December 2-8: Cans of my essentials pasta sauce; and December 9-15: Cans of my essentials¨ no salt added veggies.
