Handel's Messiah

MANCHESTER – Handel’s “Messiah” (Christmas portion) will be performed on Fri., December 20, at 7:30 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 145 Lowell Street (corner of Pine and Lowell Streets), Manchester.

The Cathedral Choir, Diocesan Festival Chorus, and Chamber Orchestra all join forces to present this emotional Christmas experience. Featured soloists are Karol Carroll, Courtney Eschbach-Wells, Eileen Christiansen, Sean Parr, and Marc DeMille. Diocesan and Cathedral Director of Music, Eric J. Bermani, will lead the assembled cast in this widely acclaimed annual concert.

The Cathedral is wheelchair accessible. The suggested donation is $15.00 at the door; no advanced ticket sales. For additional information, please call 603-622-6404, x31.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
