DERRY - The Seacoast Division of the National Model Railroad Association will be holding its next Derry Model Railroading Fun Night on Fri., March 8, at the Marion Gerrish Community Center, 39 West Broadway, Derry. This monthly Fun Night program is held on the second Friday night of each month, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Members of Seacoast Division will be sharing their model railroading expertise and experience to help others get into and enjoy the hobby of model railroading. The theme for the winter/spring series is “So.. you want to build some scenery”, with topics such as scenery construction, track planning, locomotive selection and maintenance, model building, and model railroad operations are planned to be addressed. Some of the sessions will be hands-on with materials provided that can then be brought home to complete and enjoy.
A donation of $4.00 is appreciated to cover costs of the program.
