DANVILLE — Krav Panim El Panim – KAPAP is the Hebrew acronym for “Face to Face Combat”. It is the original Israeli combat system for defensive tactics, hand-to-hand combat and self-defense; it is employed by the Israeli Defence and Security forces, the Israeli National Police and its Special Operations and Anti-Terrorist units.
Hosted by Yamabushikan Karate & Martial Arts of Danville, this one hour class is free to veterans, their friends and relatives, and is offered on Wed., May 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The class will provide a very brief overview of things to consider should you ever be involved in a physical confrontation. Attendees will then be provided an opportunity for some “hands on” practice in joint locking and manipulation, and some knife, gun and/or stick take aways.
