Plaistow Rec Trips

PLAISTOW — Plaistow Recreation is pleased to offer the following trips. To register, please call 603-382-5200, ext.18.

Foxwoods Casino: Reserve your seat now for a trip to Foxwoods Casino on November 15. The bus will leave the Westville Park and Ride at 6:45 a.m. and will return to Plaistow at approximately 6:00 p.m. The cost is $20.00 for residents, $25.00 for non-residents.

Nutcracker at the Palace: Come enjoy a performance of the Nutcracker at the Palace Theatre in Manchester on Sat., November 30 for a 4:00 p.m. The bus will be leave from the Park & Ride on Westville Road in Plaistow at 2:30 p.m. and will return at approximately 7:00 p.m. Cost for trip is $40.00/Plaistow Residents and $45.00/Non-Residents.

Newport Mansion at Christmas: The glitter of gold and the sparkle of silver will dazzle you as you tour three magnificent mansions decked out in Yuletide finery. Music, tours, and spectacular decorations highlight the celebration of Christmas at the Newport Mansions. On December 6, the bus will leave the Park & Ride on Westville Road in Plaistow at 8:30 a.m. and return at approximately 7:00 p.m. You will have time to relish in the beauty of each mansion, visit the gift shop, and lunch will be on your own. Tickets for this event will be $30.00/Plaistow Residents and $35.00/Non Residents.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
