Foxwoods Trip

KENSINGTON — The Kensington American Legion Auxiliary will host a trip to Foxwoods on Thurs., April 24.

The bus leaves from the Kensington American Legion parking lot on Route 150 at 6:45 a.m. to arrive at Foxwoods at approximately 9:00 a.m. The bus will leave Foxwoods at 5:30 p.m., and will arrive home about 7:30 p.m.

Play bingo on the trip down and enjoy a raffle of $25.00 worth of scratch tickets. On the trip home, watch a movie and have a snack.

The cost is $35.00 per person. On arrival you will receive a ticket for a free buffet (value $18.00) or $10.00 food ticket and $10.00 in Keno from Foxwoods. Proceeds from the trip go to support Children and Youth. The trip is sponsored by the Kensington American Legion Aux. Unit 105 located on Rt. 150 in Kensington. Proceeds from the trip go to support Children and Youth.

  • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
