Create a team and take the plunge! Anyone age 12 or older can participate. Jump into the frigid Kingston Lake at 11:00 a.m.! Raise the most money and win a prize. Spectators vote on the zaniest costume. The 4th annual Paddle Plunge is a fundraiser for the SD YMCA Scholarship Program, this event is sure to provide entertainment and fun for all.

A variety of child and family focused activities including CATCH games, camp activities, healthy snack tasting, paddle plunge spectating, and costume judging are just a few of the ways the entire family will enjoy time together.

The Paddle Plunge is an annual event hosted by the Southern District YMCA to celebrate the culmination of fundraising activities that dedicated School Age Child Care staff and students, and community members will work on throughout the month of March. The goal is to raise $7,000. 100% of the funds raised will benefit local school children by providing scholarships to attend SD YMCA School Age Child Care.
