Folk Concert

HAVERHILL, MA — An exhilarating night of intensely powerful vocals and edgy folk songwriting comes to Haverhill’s New Moon Coffeehouse. Don’t miss the incredible Chelsea Berry perform on Sat., February 15, at 8:00 p.m. The local eclectic duo Kangaralien opens the evening.

“A voice of remarkable power and control with a joyous soul. Brave and bright, Chelsea Berry is the real thing,” raves Livingston Taylor. Berry’s presence has been described by listeners as “compelling…she draws the entire house into her world like moths to a flame.” Her original lyrics are reminiscent of the folk music of the sixties. Born and raised in Alaska, she now makes her home on Cape Ann, north of Boston.

Kangaralien is the Boston-based acoustic guitar duo Eric Clemenzi and Steve Belleville. Their music incorporates elements of progressive rock, bluegrass, jazz and classical.

Come hear these fantastic musicians.

The coffeehouse is located in the Universalist Unitarian Church, 16 Ashland Street, Haverhill, MA. Admission to the show is $20.00; $10.00 for those ages 18 and under. Tickets for this show are available at the door starting around 6:30 p.m.; doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets may be reserved prior to the show by visiting www.newmooncoffeehouse.org, or by calling 978-459-5134.
