Fundraising Night

METHUEN, MA —Support HelpHOPELive (Northeast Kidney Transplant Fund) on Mon., August 19, from 3:00-10:00 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse, 424 Broadway in Methuen, MA. Texas Roadhouse will donate ten-percent of your total food purchases to the fundraiser. Diners must present a flyer or bring this article to participate.

There will also be a raffle—grand prize is a five-night Stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort; other prizes include: 32” Flat Screen VISIO TV; Tumi Garment Bag; two Celtics Tickets; iPod Shuffle and Speaker. Raffle tickets will be on sale until 8:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the Texas Roadhouse fundraiser and raffle will benefit the Northeast Kidney Transplant Fund in honor of Craig Burton of Newton, NH. Additional donations are welcome.   • Successful Car Show/Pig Roast

    The Activities Committee from American Legion Post 51 in Epping donated the proceeds from their Annual Car Show and Pig Roast held on May 17 to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. The Association is the statewide leader in providing vision rehabilitation services for NH people of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. Junior Vice Commander Rick Pelletier is presenting the $1,400 check to Mary Chase. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time to make the day a success.
