Pomp and Circumstances: Class of 2009

Timberlane Regional High School students from the towns of Sandown, Danville, Plaistow, and Atkinson, graduated outdoors under rain clouds, overcast, just plain clouds, and a bit of sunshine. The mixed weather bag didn’t dampen the spirit of the 365 young men and women that will either continue on with their education, join the military, or join the work force. All smiles before receiving their diploma are Kevin Scott Zambrano of Sandown and Jennifer Catherine Gates of Plaistow.

    RAYMOND — Myron W. Cate, 79, of Hay Springs, Nebraska died peacefully at home on August 20, 2010. Myron was born on February 23, 1931 in Manchester. He was a resident of Raymond, until he joined the United States Navy at the age of 17. He proudly served his country in both the Navy and then the Air Force during the Korean War. Myron's patriotism and strong love of American Freedom was seen as he was known to even carry a copy of the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution in his pocket.
