Students Honored in NH Math League

The Math League is dedicated to bringing challenging mathematics materials to students. League specialties include math contests, books, and computer software designed to stimulate interest and confidence in mathematics for students from the 4th grade through high school. Over one million students participate in Math League contests each year. Contest questions are designed to cover a range of mathematical knowledge for each grade level. They're fun too! Hampstead Academy Upper School students competed in the Math League 2012 Contest. Outstanding individual scores were earned by Daniel Taylor in grade 6, who placed Second in the state and by Noam Hantman in grade 8, who placed Second in the state at his grade level. In the team competition, Grade 6 placed Third in the state, Grade 7 placed Third in the state, and Grade 8 placed Fourth. Congratulations Math League competitors!
