Plant Sale

SANDOWN —The Sandown Garden Club has been busy in the past several weeks preparing for its’ 7th annual Herb and Plant Sale which will be held on Sat., June 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Sale will take place next to the Sandown Firehouse on Main Street, where a big white tent will be surrounded by hundreds of perennials, herbs, shrubs, etc. New this year is a large variety of NH certified organically grown herbs that are perfect for one’s kitchen garden. Many plants and bushes come from the gardens of local homeowners, which means they are hardy and thrive in New Hampshire’s climate zone. Most perennials are reasonably priced at only $5.00 and a great value for home gardeners. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their plant trays and wagons to fill up and to come early for the best selection. Club members will be available to answer questions and help pick the right plants for your garden. The Sandown Garden Club is a non-profit organization and uses proceeds from the Sale for its’ many community projects. The Club belongs to both the New Hampshire Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. and National Garden Clubs, Inc. For more information, visit the website, or email
